Blakemere Craft Centre Sandiway Cheshire is in the heart of beautiful Cheshire countryside; a recipe of relaxed and unique shopping set in and around a beautiful Edwardian stable block and cobbled courtyard, home to numerous craft shops offering gifts galore, beautifully handcrafted either on site or around the world.
Events and Entertainment There are various events held every weekend from antique and collector's fairs to farmers' markets, festive events over the Christmas period and activities during the summer holidays.

Don’t miss our exceptional Bird of Prey aviaries located in Cheshire Waterlife & Falconry and watch the unique flying displays performed between March and September each year.
You can also enjoy wonderful craft activities for both adults and children, including pottery, greeting card making and chocolate making or enjoy a pre-booked tour of our working Brewery making traditionally crafted cask ales. Select from an assortment of craft supplies and discover your hidden creative talents.
Children aged between 1 and 10 can have stacks of fun in our Children’s Indoor Playbarn and party venue.
And when all that shopping gets too much, you’ll appreciate a welcomed break in our excellent family restaurant and coffee shop serving some of the best homemade food in Cheshire.
Sunday 3rd June and Monday 4th June Circus Workshop available in the courtyard on both days – have a go at juggling, diablo, plate spinning and more with assistance from our hands on workshop team. Monday 4th June and Tuesday 5th June Spring Bank Holiday and Diamond Jubilee Food & Craft Festival: consisting of food and craft stalls offering a great selection of local produce and handcrafted items. Open both days from 10am – 5pm with free admission and parking over the Bank Holiday Weekend. Tuesday 5th June 2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebration Street Party in the courtyard with bunting, music and children’s entertainment and games throughout the day between 11am and 4pm. Just purchase your party food and join in the party, food available from 11.30am until 3.30pm.
Join in our Bunting Challenge for the Queens Diamond Jubilee - both the villages of Sandiway and Cuddington and Blakemere are joining forces to try to make the longest bunting in Cheshire. Design your own piece of bunting, incorporating our Royal (red, white and blue) Theme, at Blakemere on the run up to, and during, our Jubilee Street Party, or bring in your own pieces to add prior to Tuesday 5th June. Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July Countryside Fair 2012: Full of fun for all the family including an Arena Time Table incorporating a Fun Dog Show and a variety of displays and demonstrations. There will be a fantastic Food Hall and Craft Marquee, stalls and activities, clay pigeon shooting, archery and small fairground rides to name but a few. BBQ, Beer Tent, and lots more. Admission £1 per adult (children under 16 free) proceeds going to Blakemere’s Charity of the Year. Sunday 26th and Monday 27th August August Bank Holiday Antique Fair: Browse around our free Antique and Collectors Fair with numerous stalls selling a variety of wonderful items. 10am – 5pm.

Held in The Coach House, the evening will commence with a raffle, followed by a fantastic Fashion Show and concluding with a Charity Auction. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the evening and Saffi Boutique will also be open for ladies to make some bargain purchases using the 15% discount available on the night. Saturday 20th to Wednesday 31st October Scarecrow Trail: Pick up a Trail Form and follow the Scarecrow Trail around Blakemere and along the A49 into the village of Tarporley, collecting the names of each scarecrow as you go. Return your completed forms and be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes! Trail forms are just £1 each to take part. Saturday 17th November Santa’s Grotto Open’s: Santa arrives on our Santa Express with his head elf ‘Jolly Twinkle Toes’ to open his Grotto and Festive Garden Square. Each child receives a small gift, plus a free tea or coffee for parents/guardians. Open every Saturday and Sunday up to Sunday 23rd December 11.00am – 4.00pm and Christmas Eve 11am – 2pm. Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th November Christmas Extravaganza Weekend: Blakemere kicks off the festive season with its annual Christmas Extravaganza weekend. The shops will have special offers and discounts available only over this weekend, so don’t miss out!

Santa Express: ride on our festive land train which runs each Saturday and Sunday up to Christmas. Just £1 per passenger. Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December Carol in the Courtyard: Get into the festive spirit of Christmas and enjoy local Primary School Choirs and local school bands perform festive music and carols in the cobbled courtyard. Performances between 11.00 – 3.00pm. Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December Christmas Food and Craft Market: A great opportunity to pick up a festive bargain in our Christmas Market Marquee; open each day from 10am – 5pm. Offering local food produce and handcrafted gifts and Christmas decorations. Free admission and parking. Sunday 9th December Breakfast with Santa: Enjoy this wonderfully festive event set this year in The Saddler’s Kitchen at Blakemere. A full English breakfast is served while Santa and his Head Elf ‘Jolly Twinkle Toes’ talk with guests at their tables. After breakfast enjoy storytelling around the tree and Santa gives each child a small gift before he leaves. Santa arrives with his Elf at 8.30am, so be early to ensure you see them arrive. Breakfast is served from 8.45am. Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December Christmas Food and Craft Market: A great opportunity to pick up a festive bargain in our Christmas Market Marquee; open each day from 10am – 5pm.
