Katrina Naomi is from South London. Her first collection "The Girl with the Cactus Handshake" (Templar Poetry 2009)was described as "arresting and vivid" by the judges of the London New Poetry Award.

Sunday pm 23rd June - The Launch of "Rise" by Gill McEvoy.
Gill McEvoy is one of the popular Zest! nights management team. She is a Hawthornden Fellow and has received many prizes for her poetry. "Rise" is her second full collection, her first being "The Plucking Shed", both published by Cinnamon Press. "Rise" celebrates Gill's astonishing survival of serious ovarian cancer, and is also a celebration of life itself. She is delighted to be launching a book at Alexander's for the second time - what better place!!
