Jennifer Pike came to national prominence in 2002 when she won BBC Young Musician of the Year at the age of twelve. The dazzling career of Britain's best young violinist continues to soar, with The South Bank Show/TheTimes Breakthrough Award, London Music Masters Award and BBC New Generation Artist all recent accolades.

BADKE QUARTET | 4 Dec 2011

The fast-rising Badke Quartet is widely recognised as one of Britain's finest string quartets. They won First Prize at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition in 2007 and are known for their energetic and vibrant performances. Haydn's "Fifths" Quartet is one of his most dramatic chamber music works. Inspired by Haydn's quartets, their programme also includes Mozart's F major Prussian quartet and the atmospheric quartet of Ravel.

HAYDN - String Quartet Op 76 No.2 D minor "Fifths"
MOZART - Quartet No.23 in F major K.590 (Prussian No.3)
RAVEL - String Quartet in F
