Come and Walk the Wirral Way on 10th July 2011 amd raise money for your own Charities. The Wirral Way Rotary Walk is oranised by the Rotary Clubs of Bebington, Ellesmere Port, Heswall, Neston, Mid Wirral & South Wirral and provides the opportunity for walkers to raise funds for the charity of their choice. The walk is between Hooton and Thurstason, you can choose to start at either end; a total of nine miles with staging posts at Hadlow Road, Willaston; and at The Old Quay, Pargate (by their kind permission). There is a Registration fee which the Rotary Clubs will use for their own Charities.
The Rotary Clubs of Wirral have organised a day when you can come as an individual, with your family or as part of a group and walk the Wirral Way and use the event to gain sponsorship to support for fundraising for a charity of your own choice. The Rotary Clubs do all the organising, will issue you with proof of completing the course and will look after you on the day – all you have to do is come and be part of it.
