MILMODA ARTThe Art of Perfection
‘Here and Now’ is the new Pop-Up tour of art exhibitions from Wirral-based MilModa Art. This MilModa Art tour is a spectacular new selection of contemporary original paintings all for purchase, based on home ground in the most perfectly chosen, picturesque location of the Oak room at the Thornton Hall Hotel in Thornton Hough on Saturday 16th April, before travelling to other locations in the country.MilModa Art was created by Michelle Linger, who has over 20 years experience working in the art world and wanted to create a touring gallery that could be appreciated not just in a static location, but by people from all over the country at chosen venues. Michelle comments. “All works are exceptional, original pieces that will look en vogue not only today but also in many years time. They are flexible to be displayed in any environment and this is why our slogan is ‘Art to treasure forever’”.Over the years she has built up a strong working relationship with a wide range of artists, locally, nationally and internationally. She also supports and displays emerging north-west artists, many of whom will have new pieces on display, including prize winning, semi abstract emerging painter Kathy Little, abstract artist Margaret Ransome and established national artist Fleur Deakin and many others. All artists’ works on display have a theme, as all their influences are very personal.Margaret Ransome explains. “My paintings in the MilModa exhibitions were all created in my Wirral based studio. I work in acrylic due to the fast drying time of the paint as once I am in a creative mood I shut myself away and the paint just seems to flow. My first piece ‘Unfolding Drama’ shows the meaning of strength and moving forward, which is displayed in the loops of loose brush marks I have made. Within the layering of paint, subtle colours and shapes emerge”. She continues “‘Basement Blues’ is influenced by my love for music, the rock and roll years and the colours and atmosphere, whilst my last work ‘Down-Town Lofts’ is more landscape abstract work”.Today, as an established national artist, Fleur Deakins’ original one-off works are in high demand. Her unique canvas works are created with vivid colours and have a stunning glass like effect. For the viewer to appreciate these works, they are a must to be seen in reality. Fleur Deakin comments “I lived and studied in the north-west. This experience influenced me in becoming the artist that I am today. I look forward to being represented by MilModa on the Here and Now art tour. I will be showing a series of works exploring natural, architectural and landscape elements”.She even observes the nooks and crannies, seeing beauty growing from unlikely locations such as in walls and broken pains of glass. She considers that perhaps she opens her eyes to the everyday beauty from nature we often walk past and ignore.Fleur comments “I create beautiful, chromatic, human landscapes from both the exterior and interior of experience”.All the above, mixed with other extraordinary stunning quality artists’ talent is a rare opportunity to purchase such exceptional perfection.See MilModa Art, Thornton Hall Hotel, Thornton Hough Neston Road, Wirral CH63 1JFOn Saturday 16th April 9 am-6 pmTelephone: 07710 078 845 www.Milmodaart.comEmail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
