Wirral Farmers' Market - Next market second Saturday of the Month - Wirral Farmers’ Market Perfect Sandwich | Print |

Farmers' Markets  Events for 2012

****

Join our quest to find what would make the Wirral Farmers’ Market Perfect Sandwich ...
... and win a £10 voucher to shop at the market!
It is National Bread Week, next week and we are celebrating with our 2 fantastic bakers at the market, The French Corner and Dodgshons.

We are searching for the ingredients of the perfect sandwich. You can choose sweet or savoury fillings but you must choose produce from the market and you can tell us which bread you prefer too! From a simple baguette with Buffalo sausage and Delicious Sauces' chilli sauce to sourdough with one of Find Inspiration in Food's winning marmalades there is plenty to choose from! You can enter on line - www.wirralfarmersmarket.co.uk/sandwich.asp. The best entries will get a £10 voucher to shop at the market and we will publish the results on our website.

Also this month Alison from Happy Beef will be cooking burgers made from her grass fed Hereford beef as well as her beef pies (look out for her stall outside) and we have a new stall from Rosie D's Cider. Our local honey supplier is back but The Chocolate Cellar is taking a well deserved holiday.

The market is on from 9.00am to 1.00pm, this Saturday (14 April) and there is free parking as well as great public transport links by bus or train.

Wirral Farmers' Market was established in 2000 and is held every second Saturday in New Ferry from 9.00am to 1.00pm.

There is plenty of free parking in the car park or on the street or come on public transport.

With over 30 stalls you can buy all your fresh produce and many people buy meat, fish and meals for the freezer!

We have a cafe so you can take a break from shopping and meet up with friends.
