July 4th
Lulu and friends, Rick Astley and Kiki Dee, offer an evening of exciting music, dance and colour in a rousing and vibrant show which has become a great hit in the UK and further afield.
The wonderful Lulu and her glamorous star guests put you in party mood - energetic, colourful and with more than a hint of ‘Disco Diva’.
Tuesday 5th July, 7.45pm
The indomitable Salford-born Tenor, multi-award winner and one of the world’s favourite voices, performs at Llangollen for the very first time. Including hits such as E Sara Cosi, Parla piu piano, and Be my Love.
Wednesday 6th July
Join us for the colourful Welcome Ceremony, procession of Performers, and a unique evening of music, dance, and colour from all over the world. Featuring music and dance from Sardinia, Canada, Slovakia, and India - amongst others!

Thursday 7th July
The local community joins in a dynamic, contemporary twist to Britten’s masterpiece -including 300 children, soloists, instrumentalists. The story of Noah and the Ark will be told with a modern day twist. Join the show and see the Pavilion awash with colour!
The performance will feature children from eight schools:
St. Matthews Primary School, Liverpool; Christchurch School, Rhyl, Ysgol; Bryn Collen Ysgol y Gwernant, Llangollen; Rhosymedre Primary School, Rhosymedre; Ysgol Glyndyfdwy, Glyndyfdwy; Carrog School, Carrog; Ysgol Caer Drewyn, Corwen; Côr Ieuenctid, Ynys Môn.
Featuring Llangollen Eisteddfod President, Terry Waite, as the Voice of God
The concert will also include performances by the best of the day’s competitors in the finals of Folk Solo and Folk Groups.
Friday 8th July
‘West End International’ and the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera join the acclaimed star and other guest soloists with sizzling music from the heart of theatreland. Includes hit songs from Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Wicked, Oliver!, Company, My Fair Lady, Chess, Anything Goes, Sunset Boulevard, Sweet Charity, Crazy for You, The Woman in White, Lover Never Dies, and Guys and Dolls.
Ruthie will be accompanied by the WNO Orchestra (conducted by Martin Yates) and will be joined by guest soloists Robyn North, Andrew Halliday, and David Shannon.

Saturday 9th July
CHOIR OF THE WORLD, THE PAVAROTTI TROPHY
7.45pm
Acknowledged as the world’s best choir competition – it probably speaks for itself! Preceded by the ‘best of the rest’ from all over the globe; featuring performances from Hong Kong, Belarus, India, and England. Also the winners of our own ‘LIMELife Spring’ Show Choirs competition.
As the adjudicators decide the winner of Choir of the World, Guest Honour Julian Lloyd Webber gives a short performance (see also the @6 Concert to be given by Julian earlier during the evening).

Winning choirs from the five major choral competitions sing it out in the grand final. The winner is awarded the famous Pavarotti Trophy named for the great Italian tenor who competed on the Eisteddfod stage in 1955 when his choir from Modena won the Men's Choir Competition. In 2005, Luciano Pavarotti added his name to the Choir of the World Competition.
Julian Lloyd Webber
‘Cello
Widely regarded as one of the most creative musicians of his generation. Julian Lloyd Webber plays the ‘Barjansky’ Stradivarius cello of c.1690.
Sunday 10th July
