Schools Competition Our schools based art competition is launching now! Pupils from Flintshire primary schools are being invited to draw a picture with the title ‘My Perfect Festival Feast’. The winning design with the name of the pupil and their school will be printed onto one side of the Festival carrier bags. Watch out for details in the local press soon! Festival Programme An exciting schedule is currently being planned with celebrity chefs, live music, interactive activities, family fun and many new features – watch this space, all will be revealed in due course!
This successful annual festival offers a fantastic mix of food, drink, live entertainment, interactive activities and much more. Set to be the biggest yet, there will be more than 90 quality food and drink exhibitors attending this year showcasing a huge variety of produce with many offering tastings before you buy.
The whole family can participate in some fun, foodie activities in the Interactive Zone and there will be live bands and soloists performing on the outdoor stage throughout the weekend. The festival makes a perfect family day out with lots of activities for the children including a climbing wall, rides, trampolines, face-painting and craft workshops. The open-air courtyard is the ideal place to take some time out to relax with a drink or two and some delicious food from the wide selection on offer.

Beekeeper's Exhibition There will be a fascinating beekeeping exhibition and honey show run by South Clwyd and Flint & District Beekeeper Associations. See the bees at work in observation hives, sample locally produced honeys and watch a film all about beekeeping. Anyone interested in taking up beekeeping as a hobby will find lots of useful information and help from the members of both associations who will be on hand throughout the weekend.
