Local Drama Group are a bunch of Cowboys!

Calling all Cowboys, Costumiers and Cows (of the pantomime variety!)

Have you ever fancied treading the boards?  Is there a budding thespian within you, just itching to get out?  If so, then the Hawarden Players may well be the group for you!  Your local drama group are on the lookout again for prospective new members, and would love for you to be a part of the fun! Following their hugely successful comedy ‘The happiest days of your life’ which had audiences rolling in the aisles, the award winning group are, again, opening their doors for anyone who wants to get involved, whether that’s onstage, or helping out behind the scenes, with costume or even front of house.  Their next production will be the unique ‘Wild West: The Panto’. 

Chairperson Fiona Burdsall said, ‘The main focus of our group is getting together and putting on fantastic shows while having a really good time ourselves!  We have a real mix of members of all sorts of ages and from all walks of life but we all muck in together and have loads of fun whether we’re on stage or off!  We’re quite a social group so we also have lots of outings and gatherings as well as supporting other groups and functions when we can, sometimes I wonder how we find the time to perform!’
