 Handel’s Messiah

Chester Cathedral’s Nave Choir will be joined by the famous 18th Century Concert Orchestra to perform the full score of Handel’s ‘Messiah’, one of the most famous classical compositions of all time.  The debut performance of ‘Messiah was in Dublin in 1742; interestingly Handel’s ferry crossing to Ireland was delayed by bad weather and he actually conducted a final rehearsal in Chester Cathedral.  The concert starts at 7pm.

Tickets: £15 (£13.50 concession) and £25 for VIP premium seats which include sparkling wine and canapés during the interval.

Tickets are available from the Cathedral box office, online at http://www.chestercathedral.com/, in person, or by telephone on 01244 500959
