King David wrote many Psalms (songs), some were songs of praise others of prayer and other subjects and they have provided inspiration to composers for centuries. This concert is a performance of many of the most beautiful musical settings of the psalms in the atmospheric Chester Cathedral accompanied by the beautiful sound of the cathedral organ.

The concert also previews, for the citizens of Chester, the forthcoming European Tour Concert to be made by the Chester Music Society Choir.
