 BIBLE TALKS
'The Bible and the Book of Common Prayer'

A series of lectures and discussions.

After the lectures on 1st, 8th and 15th of February and 14th and 21st March,  the Professors Alexander and Peter Bamford (Cathedral Librarian) will be leading a visit to the Library Exhibition on the 1622 Book of Common Prayer. This will cost
£2.50 pp including a copy of the exhibition guide.

There is no charge for attending, although donations towards the work of the Cathedral are welcome.

 Big Bible Event

Discover the Big Story of the Bible and where you fit in

The Big Bible event is for children and their families or church groups.  Eight interactive zones will let you explore right through the Bible with storytelling, drama, makes, games, puppets, music and much, much more.  There is no age limit but activities will be great for children aged 5 to 11 with lots for the rest of the family to join in too.
 
Tickets £2.00, families £7.50.

Places are limited.

An opportunity to rehearse and perform this beautiful work in an afternoon, under the direction of Philip Rushforth (Director of Music at Chester Cathedral).

This is an open event. Music will be provided on the day.

 CHESTER MYSTERY PLAYS

This amazing community theatre event takes place every five years. In 2013 the Chester Mystery Plays will be performed by hundreds of local volunteers led by a production team including Artistic Director, Peter Leslie Wild and Music Director/Composer, Matthew Baker. And for the first time ever, the Plays will be performed in the Nave of Chester Cathedral.
