 North West Cancer Research present the Butterfly Ball at Craxton Wood Hotel September 25th 2010

Join us for our 3rd Annual Butterfly Ball and help us raise funds in style! Hosted by Radio Merseyside’s Willie Millar with entertainment from The Black Ties and a few special treats along the way it’s set to be an evening to remember. Last year we raised over £11,000 and we’re hoping to smash that total again this year.

NWCRF is a regional independent charity, each year we aim to raise between £750,000 and £1m for research into the causes of cancer. All our funding stays in the region we raise; with grants awarded to scientists in Bangor University, Lancaster University and the University of Liverpool.

For every £1 raised an average of around 90p goes directly into research, which is why this new website is important to us. It is being specially built by a local company who are tailoring each aspect so we can control and maintain the site from head office with ease and without having to pay fees for any changes we wish to make.
