What is Chester and District Sports and Recreation Trust (CADSART)

Founded in 1996, CADSART is a non-profit making charitable company limited by guarantee. Its main objective is to provide sports and recreation facilities to the Chester and District community (hence the acronym). The Trust was the first of its kind to be established in the North and has grown from strength to strength, inspiring many other local authorities to benefit from employing Trusts to manage their leisure amenities.

In addition to Northgate Arena sports complex, the Trust also manage Christleton Sports Centre, Malpas Sports Centre, Woodford Lodge Sports Centre and Westminster Park.

We offer choice and first class facilities! From swimming lessons, racquet sports and a fully equipped gym, to Spinning classes, Khai Bo and Yoga. That’s why we see over 3,500 people, of all ages, step through our doors every week!

We offer excellent value for money memberships with no joining fee – no hassle and no contract! We are committed to ensuring your visit is an enjoyable one.
