Tatton Park Biennial - From 12 May 2012 to 30 September 2012 Tatton Park stages its third Biennial of contemporary art, a laboratory for creative experiment and exchange, with new works commissioned for the Deer Park, Mansion and Formal Gardens. The 2012 edition is all about flying. Flights of Fancy explores the aeronautical history of Tatton and the human urge to fly.

Diamond Jubilee 1950s Celebration at the Old Hall - On 4 June 2012 Come along to Tatton's Old Hall and step back in time into the period known as the New Elizabethan Age when Elizabeth II became queen.Celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with live music, a chance to dance, 1950s fashion and domestic life. Medieval Fayre at the Old Hall - From 16 June 2012 to 17 June 2012 No one likes paying his or her taxes, especially during the medieval ages and here at the 15th Medieval Fayre at Tatton in association with Plantaganet Events, people meet to pay their tithes. Hard on the heel follows a jealous neighbour with his army, determining to wrest the Old Hall from its rightful lord. These actions lead to a spectacular battle finale both days. Mercenaries, minstrels, men at arms, archers, gunners and a rag tag army of hangers-on promise exciting and atmospheric times. Much to do and see, hear and smell, drink and eat. Hundreds of re-enactors and over 40 authentic merchants and skilled artisans complete a travelling Fair in one of the most characterful events in the living history calendar. Ceramic Workshop. CANCELLED - On 24 June 2012 Capture the spirit of Tatton’s parkland by exploring the natural features within the grounds with local artist Andy Leigh. Decorative pots, tiles and sculptures will be created using throwing and slab techniques.

Summer Deer Walk - On 26th and 27th June 2012 For centuries the Red and Fallow deer at Tatton Park have roamed freely over 1,000 acres of beautiful parkland. Join the rangers for guided evening walks of the summer parkland. If you are lucky, observe new-born fawns and calves.
