Jenny will introduce you to the best plants, some great combinations and colour schemes, as well as alternative planting styles to suit any size or shape of bed. Hints and tips on getting the best from your plants as well as cutting down on maintenance. The perfect sequel to 'How to Be a Gardener'.

Visit Grosvenor on Friday 8th June for tasty, local produce from the best producers in the region.

Choose from buffalo meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, flavoursome cheeses, freshly baked cakes, handmade chocolates, pasties and pies and organic eggs too.  All the delicacies on offer have been grown, reared or picked by the very best farmers and producers in Cheshire and North Wales and regular sell out so please make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment!

Young gardeners can begin to learn all about potting and nurturing plants in our Children’s Plant Workshop with practical classes and entertaining hands-on help. Each child will take home their three plants from the Workshop and a packet of seeds to sow at home. They will also enjoy a cookie and drink too. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Creepy Crawlies at Grosvenor
Sunday 10th June, 11am – 3pm
Simon returns for a popular hands-on visit to Grosvenor with his menagerie of animals.  From lizards, snakes, spiders, frogs and many more – learn all about these amazing animals and hold them too!  Simon will talk about fears and phobias, the environments that they come from, how they protect themselves and how adaptation, natural selection and evolution have shaped the way they look and feel.
